Volunteer

Volunteers are what make Sisters’ work.
We have many different ways to help out.
Foodshare
We share food 2 days a week in the Winter and 4 days a week during the Farmers Market season. Check our calendar for upcoming dates. Be at the office by 11:00 am on those days to meet the crew. We go to the warehouses, pick up food, sort it, and finally pick a spot and hand it out. It’s a lot of fun, and a great way learn about Sisters’ Camelot.
Help Cook on the Kitchen Bus
We’re working toward our kitchen license with the Minneapolis Health Department for cooking free meals on the streets, until then we’re cooking free meals out of our kitchen bus to improve the community wherever a license isn’t required. Events and schedules vary. We cook for the Barebones Halloween Show every year, and are always looking for more help to expand our free meal schedule.Read more about it here
Technical Assistance
Do you know how to weld? Do you work with Veggie Oil conversions? Got mad computer skills? We are always looking for help on a variety of projects. Let us know what you can do. We could probably use your help.
Fundraising
Do you have experience writing grants? Do you promote shows? Have a party coming up and want to donate the proceeds? We are constantly looking for new, fun, and creative ways to raise money to keep Sisters’ Camelot on the move.
