Canvass

Sisters’ Camelot is unique as far as non-profits go because almost all of our funding is raised by our canvass.  The canvassing position entails going out with our crew and raising funds door-to-door for a cause you can feel good about. It’s a great opportunity to engage with people one-on-one, tell them about the work we do, its dire necessity here in the Twin Cities, and how we achieve sustainability in the metro.

This is a non-hierarchical job. You make your own schedule and set your own goals.  As an independent contractor, pay is based on performance, and those with genuine smiles tend to be the most successful. Crews go out on a daily basis, year-round.

Canvass shift hours are as follows:

Monday – Friday: 3:30 pm – 9:30 pm

Saturday: 12:00 pm- 7:30 pm

Sunday: 11:00 am – 3:00 pm and 3:30 pm – 9:30 pm

If it is your first time canvassing with Sisters’ Camelot, meet at our office half an hour before the shift begins for orientation and placement with a team. Our office is located at 2310 Snelling Ave in Minneapolis.
